Introducing The Newsletter
You may have known me as davedoesitall....if so, I hope you like the new name and logo! There's a new Web site behind it, which is gradually becoming what it needs to be.
If you're an old subscriber you haven't seen this for a long time....and if you're a new subscriber you may wonder why you never saw the newsletter! The answer is that a crush of new client work pushed it aside. That pressure has now subsided, and I've established a new infrastructure for the newsletter that will relieve me of the chore of processing subscribes and unsubscribes, so I expect to be able to get it to you reliably. That infrastructure will be the subject of a newsletter to be written, telling you how to publish your own newsletter with a practical amount of work.
Another important reason for me to publish my own newsletter is that I urge all of my clients to publish a newsletter, and I'm a poor example for them if I don't get out my own newsletter! It's really an important Web marketing technique--but that, too, is a story for a newsletter to come.
If you subscribed to the old newsletter, or simply asked to subscribe, you're on the subscription list. And if you're a client or friend of Web Marketing Advantage, you've been put on the subscription list. And even if you're someone in my address book I haven't heard from for a while, you too could find yourself receiving this note. If you aren't interested in receiving it, you can easily unsubscribe by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of the page. Of course, I hope you'll read at least a few issues and see if the newsletter is of interest.
The target is for a new issue once a week. Each issue will be one page long and will cover a single topic, so that it's easy to read and digest, with a single-sentence conclusion at the end talking about how to put the information into practice.
